It's worth noting that larger companies like Cottages.com & www.holidaycottages.co.uk and a service fee of between £39 -£59 per booking. You can see in the help video below how this affects your commission which is much higher than you think you are paying. Please watch below for more detail.
We also have cottages which advertise on both The Best of Exmoor and Cottages.com. They will always state that this isn't allowed in their contract but many owners do achieve this by updating both calendars in our booking system and with cottages.com. As they have around 20,000 properties it's not possible to keep track.
