Booking and Payment Information

When you make a booking, you'll need to pay a deposit via card or bank transfer. If you choose to pay by bank transfer, please ensure payment is completed within 24 hours to secure your booking—otherwise, it may be cancelled.


Payment Options

  • Bank Transfers – No service fees apply for making payment via bank transfer.
  • Card Payments – When you make payments via card, service charge applies.
  • Cheque Payment - Service Charge Applies
  • Paypal Transfer - Service Charge Applies
  • Bitcoin - We also accept payment via Bitcoin and no fees for this.


Payment Deadlines 

  • Bookings within 6 weeks – If you book the cottage with an arrival date in less than 6 weeks, then you are supposed to make full payment at the time of booking.
  • Bookings more than 6 weeks in advance - If you book the cottage with an arrival date more than 6 weeks in advance, you need to pay 30% of the total amount as a deposit to secure the booking. Then, you'll receive a reminder email 6 weeks before your stay to pay the remaining balance.

Deposit Information

  • The deposit is 30% of the total booking cost.
  • You can pay your balance at any time via the link in your confirmation email, titled "Deposit Received for [Cottage Name]".
  • Your booking may include a damage deposit and additional charges, such as for pets or firewood.
